Job summary

RV Solutions WA is looking for a caravan technician/foreman for a full-time on-site role in the Greater Perth Area. You will diagnose and repair caravans, campers and RVs across structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, while supervising workshop operations and coordinating insurance repair jobs.

You will liaise with customers and suppliers, maintain records, and drive safety, quality and process improvements. A trade background in automotive/mechanical fields is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong caravan repair and maintenance skills across structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Experience supervising workshop teams and coordinating workloads in a trades/automotive setting.
• Ability to read technical drawings, insurance repair scopes and manufacturer specs.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Perth Area for a caravan technician/foreman. The role involves diagnosing and repairing caravans, campers, and recreational vehicles, including structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The technician/foreman oversees workshop operations, allocates tasks, and supports team members to ensure repairs and custom builds are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating insurance repair jobs, liaising with customers and suppliers, maintaining accurate job records, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety and quality standards. The role also contributes to process improvements and supports training and development of junior technicians.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in caravan repair and maintenance, including structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Experience supervising workshop teams, coordinating workloads, and providing day-to-day leadership in a trades or automotive environment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, insurance repair scopes, and manufacturer specifications.
• Solid understanding of safety, quality assurance, and compliance requirements relevant to caravan and vehicle repair.
• Effective communication skills for engaging with customers, suppliers, and team members, with a focus on clear, respectful interactions.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and meeting deadlines.
• Relevant trade qualification (e.g., automotive, fabrication, mechanical, electrical) or equivalent industry experience in caravan or RV repair.
• Ability to use workshop tools and equipment safely, and familiarity with basic computer systems for job management and reporting.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to work on-site in the Greater Perth Area.
