Job summary

Fairfield West Caravan Park in NSW is seeking an experienced, reliable manager to oversee our 100-cabin park, home to a long-term resident community. This is a hands-on, live-in role combining office administration with maintenance and cleaning duties in a peaceful community environment.

You'll handle resident enquiries, rent collection, bookings, basic admin, and supervise maintenance, grounds, and cleaning tasks.

• Practical, can-do attitude with good maintenance/handyman skills.

We're a privately-owned caravan park in Fairfield seeking an experienced, reliable manager to oversee our 100-cabin park, home to a long-term resident community.

This is a hands-on, live-in role combining office administration with maintenance and cleaning duties. It suits someone who wants a stable, ongoing role within a peaceful community environment.

The role includes:

Office / Administration

Handling resident enquiries, rent collection and record-keeping

Managing bookings, correspondence and basic admin tasks

Liaising with residents on day-to-day matters and maintaining good relationships within the community

Basic bookkeeping and reporting to the owners

Regular inspections of cabins

Maintenance

General upkeep of park grounds, common areas and facilities including mowing of lawns (ride-on mower provided)

Handyman duties, including repairs, as well as coordinating with contractors/tradespeople for larger jobs

Monitoring park presentation and reporting issues promptly

Maintaining appropriate workplace health and safety standards

Cleaning

Cleaning of individual cabins/sites only when a resident vacates (not routine ongoing cleaning, as all residents are long-term)

Ensuring vacated cabins are presented well and ready for the next resident

Regular cleaning of common areas and facilities

About you:

Experience in park management, hospitality, property management or similar

Practical, can-do attitude with good maintenance/handyman skills

Confident with computers and basic admin/office tasks

Friendly, respectful and reliable when working with a long-term resident community
