Job summary

Snowy River Caravans Wangaratta is seeking an experienced Caravan Insurance Repair Technician to join our busy insurance repairs team. You’ll restore caravans damaged by accidents, weather or general insurance claims, using hands-on skills and attention to detail.

You will work alongside our service and insurance teams to get each caravan repaired to a high standard and ready for the road. A trade background in panel beating or auto-body repair is preferred but not essential, and full-time

Qualifications

• Experience in caravan/RV or automotive repairs.
• Trade qualification in panel beating or auto-body repair preferred but not essential.
• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and insurance guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural, panel and general caravan repairs.
• Repair and replace caravan components including cladding, awnings, windows and fixtures.
• Assess damage and complete quality repairs.
• Work from repair manuals and insurance guidelines.
• Keep workspace clean, safe and organized.
• Ensure every job leaves the workshop looking good.

Snowy River Caravans is growing... and our insurance repairs team is BUSY!

We’re looking for an experienced Caravan Insurance Repair Technician to join our team and help us keep up with the demand.

If you’re hands-on, take pride in your work and know your way around a caravan repair, we want to hear from you!

THE ROLE

As a Caravan Insurance Repair Technician, you’ll be restoring caravans that have seen better days, whether it’s accident damage, weather damage or general insurance repairs.

You’ll work alongside our service and insurance teams to get each caravan repaired, looking its best and ready to hit the road again.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Carrying out structural, panel and general caravan repairs
• Repairing and replacing caravan components including cladding, awnings, windows, fixtures and more
• Assessing damage and completing quality repairs
• Working from repair manuals and insurance guidelines
• Keeping your workspace clean, safe and organised
• Making sure every job leaves the workshop looking bloody good!

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’ll be a great fit if you:

• Have experience in caravan, RV or automotive repairs, caravan experience is preferred but not essential
• Take serious pride in your workmanship
• Have an eye for detail and don't believe in cutting corners
• Can problem-solve and work independently
• Can read and interpret repair manuals and insurance requirements
• Have a positive attitude and enjoy being part of a team
• Have a trade qualification in panel beating, auto-body repair or a similar trade, preferred but not essential!
