What your typical day will look like As the new Client Executive at Carat, you’ll continue to grow your career in the media industry. Reporting to the Client Manager and Director, you will take responsibility for all administrative tasks within the team to ensure media campaigns run smoothly and to plan. You will build on your foundational media knowledge and gain more in depth understanding of the fundamentals of media processes, platforms and strategies for a high performing campaign, especially around TV planning and buying.

Responsibilities
  • Establishing an effective working relationship with our clients, our agency partners, and the media owners we work with.
  • Campaign setup, buying and reporting, delivering effective campaign insights and closely supporting the Client Manager with their integration in media planning and strategy.
  • Supporting the Client Associate in their own development and upskilling.
  • Working with clients on any broader requests they might have.
  • Demonstrate and apply intermediate level media maths and terminology, as well as the usage of media industry tools and technology to assist you.
  • Continuous learning and knowledge sharing. Building a strong understanding of the AU media/advertising landscape.
  • Provide support and guidance on campaign analysis and client engagements, relationships, presentations and reporting.
A bit about you
  • Around 2 years of experience in a similar media planning and/or client service role within a medium to large advertising agency supporting TV/VOD and traditional media.
  • A good understanding of the Australian media landscape and audiences.
  • Experience with TV planning/buying/research tools such as TVMaps, ETAM, AQX, Prisma, Nielsen TAM or similar.
  • Experience with excel and a good understanding of media terminology and maths.
  • Proactive communication skills with internal and external stakeholders and teams.
  • A high attention to detail and naturally inquisitive.
  • Effective time management and project management skills.
  • Naturally collaborative and enjoys working as a part of a team.
