Job summary

Quality People is recruiting a Rates & Revenue Manager for a 3+ month contract on the Capricorn Coast, Queensland. The role leads the Revenue team, provides specialist technical advice, and supports strategic financial planning and process improvements.

The ideal candidate has a tertiary qualification in business or accounting, strong Infor Pathway skills, and knowledge of TechnologyOne, with Local Government debt recovery experience considered highly advantageous.

Qualifications

• Hold a tertiary qualification in Business, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrate a high level of proficiency with the Infor Pathway system.
• Operationally competent and self-sufficient in using TechnologyOne.
• Experience with Local Government Debt Recovery and collaboration with an external provider.
• Strong background in Revenue and Treasury accounting is highly regarded.
• Prior Local Government experience would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist technical advice, lead and manage the Revenue team.
• Maintain key financial controls and support strategic financial planning.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within revenue management.
• Collaborate with external providers on debt recovery as needed.
