Job summary

Quality People is recruiting a Rates & Revenue Manager for a 3 months+ contract on the Capricorn Coast, Queensland. The role focuses on leading the Revenue team, providing specialist technical advice on rates and revenue, and maintaining financial controls.

The ideal candidate holds a business/accounting degree with strong experience in revenue and treasury accounting, plus proficiency in Infor Pathway and TechnologyOne. Local Government experience is advantageous and top pay is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Accounting, or related field.
• Proficient with Infor Pathway system.
• Operational with TechnologyOne experience.
• Experience with Local Government debt recovery and external providers.
• Strong background in Revenue and Treasury accounting.

Job description

Our client URGENTLY requires a Rates & Revenue Manager for a 3 months+ Contract on the Capricorn Coast, Queensland.

The Rates & Revenue Manager will provide specialist technical advice, lead, and manage the Revenue team, maintain key financial controls, support strategic financial planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Experience required includes:

• Hold a Tertiary Qualification in Business, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrate a high level of proficiency with the Infor Pathway system.
• Operationally competent and self-sufficient in using TechnologyOne.
• Experience with Local Government Debt Recovery and Collaboration with an external provider.
• Strong background in Revenue and Treasury accounting is highly regarded.

Prior Local Government experience would be highly advantageous.
