What if capability wasn’t a framework?
What if learning wasn’t something people stepped away from work to do?
What if onboarding built confidence from day one?
What if performance and development conversations actually helped people grow?
And what if capability was something you could see strengthening in the way work gets done?
At Defence Health, we’re building for the future.
That means rethinking how people learn, how capability connects to strategy, how performance and growth happens and how development becomes part of everyday work rather than another thing sitting alongside it.
The Role
We’re looking for a Capability & Growth Partner to help us shape what that looks like.
This is a role for someone who likes to move between the big picture and the practical
You’ll work alongside leaders and teams to understand the capability they need now and next and turn that into meaningful, practical experiences that help people perform, grow and adapt.
That could mean:
You’ll need to be just as comfortable asking “what are we actually trying to build capability for?” as you are opening the laptop and creating the thing.
Because this isn’t strategy or delivery.
It’s both.
It’s working alongside the people doing the work, rather than designing for them from the sidelines.
There’s plenty to create, plenty to challenge and plenty of fun to have along the way.
What you’ll bring
If you’re reading this thinking, “yep, this is my kind of problem to solve,” we should probably talk.
