Job summary

Peninsula Health in Frankston, Victoria, invites applications for a permanent full-time Cancer Services Manager. You will lead operational management of Cancer Services, oversee the Frankston and Rosebud Chemotherapy Day Units, and drive clinical governance, workforce planning and service development.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Postgraduate qualification in oncology, health service management or leadership.
• Significant nursing leadership and operational management experience in cancer services.
• Experience managing high-volume clinical service including workforce, patient flow, quality, safety and finances.
• Experience leading Nurse Unit Managers and multidisciplinary service teams.
• Experience in workforce planning, rostering, recruitment and performance management.
• Ability to manage service demand and operational risk.
• Knowledge of systemic anti-cancer therapy and ambulatory cancer care.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational management of Cancer Services across Peninsula Care Group.
• Oversee Frankston Chemotherapy Day Unit and Rosebud Chemotherapy Day Unit.
• Provide governance, quality and safety oversight.
• Coordinate workforce planning and rostering.
• Collaborate with medical, nursing, allied health, pharmacy and operational leaders to improve integration.
