Job summary

SA Health’s Southern Adelaide Local Health Network – Flinders Infusion Suite is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess cancer patients and administer anti-cancer treatments including chemotherapy. You’ll deliver evidence-based, person-centred care while driving quality improvement and patient safety in a multidisciplinary setting.

The role emphasises care coordination, mentoring, and education within a supportive team, with flexible work options and a focus on outstanding patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hold current Antineoplastic Drug Administration Course (ADAC) credentialing.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Effective communication skills including, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing consumer/client and family centred care.
• Cannulation and CVAD management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients with cancer and administer anti-cancer treatments, including chemotherapy.
• Deliver evidence-based, person-centred care while driving quality improvement and patient safety.
• Support the team through care coordination, mentoring and education.
