Job summary

APG Workforce is seeking an experienced ICT Project Manager in Canberra to drive delivery of major ICT programmes for a Federal Government client. You will oversee end-to-end lifecycle, coordinate business areas, technical teams, executives and vendors to achieve project outcomes within scope and budget.

The role emphasises strong planning, governance, stakeholder engagement and cost control, with a requirement to deliver high standards on time and within approved budgets.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage complex ICT projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement across business, technical and executive levels.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication for plans and status reports.
• Demonstrated experience with budgets and project expenditure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex ICT projects from planning through to implementation.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risks and dependencies.
• Manage stakeholders across business, technical and executive levels.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, briefs and governance materials.
• Monitor scope, quality, milestones, budget and project outcomes.
• Manage procurement, contracts and project expenditure.
• Lead project teams and support continuous improvement and change.
