Job summary

Hitech Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced Information Management System Administrator for a Canberra-based, onsite role within a Federal Government environment. The position supports installation, configuration and maintenance of critical software infrastructure across Windows Server, middleware, information management platforms and databases.

You will be responsible for managing operating systems, middleware and infrastructure software, monitoring performance, and handling software updates.

Qualifications

• Experience in Windows Server administration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with database management and EDRMS/information management systems.
• Scripting or automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support operating systems, infrastructure software, middleware and utility software.
• Administer Windows Server environments and support Oracle databases using SQL.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise system software performance across hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.
• Manage software updates, upgrades, configuration, testing and lifecycle of information management platforms.
