Job summary

CONSTANT is seeking Casual Security Officers to join our Brisbane campus team. You will patrol the site, identify safety issues, and issue infringements as required, starting at 8:00am and finishing by 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a professional presence across a large campus.

Ideal candidates hold a QLD Security Licence, First Aid/CPR, and a current Australian Driver Licence, with the ability to drive a company vehicle or buggy and to work independently following site procedures.

Qualifications

• Current QLD Security Licence.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• Current Australian Driver Licence.
• Ability to drive a company vehicle and/or buggy.
• Good physical fitness and ability to walk a large campus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional presentation and attitude.
• Ability to work independently and follow site procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Issuing parking infringements in accordance with site procedures.
• Conducting regular patrols across various areas of the campus.
• Identifying and reporting safety issues observed while patrolling.
• Responding to specific areas of concern as directed.
• Driving a company vehicle and/or buggy equipped with licence plate recognition technology.
• Maintaining a professional and approachable presence while interacting with staff, students and visitors.
• Completing accurate reporting and documentation as required.
