Job summary

St. Michael's College is seeking a full-time Grounds and Maintenance Officer to support daily operations and maintain a safe, welcoming campus for students and staff.

You will work closely with the Principal and under the Director of Finance/Early Learning to manage grounds, buildings and equipment with hands-on landscaping and maintenance tasks. You will be required to perform a variety of physical duties, operate lawn and garden machinery, and ensure compliance with WHS and College policies.

Qualifications

• Experience with general grounds and maintenance tasks and a variety of tools.
• Working with Children Blue Card.
• Current Driver’s License.
• Be physically capable of performing the duties of the job.
• Possess basic computer literacy.
• Be eligible to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Tidying and maintaining outdoor grounds, paths and public areas.
• Operate machinery and tools used for grounds and building maintenance.
• Assist with daily operations of the Early Learning Centre and school facilities as needed.
• Support with events setup and campus clean-up tasks.
