Camps Manager - FIFO, regional Victoria.

Elecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.

This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.

Construction of EnergyConnect is underway in various locations across the project area.

Your focus will include:

  1. Management of Elecnor Australia camps
  2. Ensure camps are maintained and kept in good working order in line with the camp build & hire subcontractor scope of work
  3. Ensure effective coordination of accommodation bookings with the project team
  4. Overall, maintain and enforce the project safety essentials
  5. Provide management oversite to ensure all camps are run effectively and in line with camp site rules
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant company and group policies and processes.
  7. Develop teamwork culture

What you will bring to the team:

  1. 5+ years experience in a similar role
  2. Demonstrated experience and understanding of systems and processes and practical experience of maintaining camps data
  3. Excellent interpersonal skills for the successful candidate are paramount, as is the ability to work in a collegiate manner across all levels of the team, both of which are vital for the successful execution and delivery of our project.
  4. Relevant industry experience, and in operations of similar scale with a proven focus on quality outputs in a timely manner
  5. An ability to form effective relationships and collaborate with project management, construction and procurement teams as well as external suppliers
  6. Well-developed leadership skills and an ability to instil a culture of safety and process compliance
  7. Meticulous written and communication skills
