Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking General Labourers and Casual Trade Assistants for a variety of site work across landscaping, construction, and industrial projects in NSW. Immediate starts with consistent weekly pay and opportunities to move into permanent roles.

You’ll earn $35.11 per hour plus 11.5% super and a $22 daily travel allowance, with weekly pay every Thursday and a reliable team to support you.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card is required.
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport is highly preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Reliable, punctual and with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform site tasks across landscaping, construction, warehousing and shopfitting projects.
• Assist tradespeople and handle general labouring duties.
• Prepare sites, move materials, dig, lift and pack as required.
• Maintain a safe work environment and use PPE as directed.

What You'll Be Doing

• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites

• General manual handling duties

Typical tasks include:

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assembling products
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We're Looking For

To join our team you must have:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
• Construction White Card

PPE Requirements

You must supply your own PPE, including:

• Steel-capped boots
