Job description

Australian Industry Group – Sydney CBD NSW

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Campaign Marketing Manager to lead the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns that drive member and commercial growth at Australian Industry Group.

This role can be based in Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney.

Reporting to the Director Marketing and Digital Experience, you'll be the main campaign contact for stakeholders across the business, turning their priorities into campaign plans and working with colleagues across content, design, production and digital systems to deliver them.

With a strong paid media background, you'll own paid strategy and execution. You'll also play a central part in building the growth engine: the lead journey, lead scoring, nurture and marketing automation that turn interest into qualified leads for the Membership and Commercial teams.

Whilst the reality of each day will be different, you can expect to be accountable for:
  • Scoping, briefing and prioritising campaign requests from business units against growth objectives
  • Building integrated campaign plans across the funnel (awareness → consideration → conversion) and across paid, eDM, website, landing pages and events
  • Leading campaign delivery by briefing the Digital Content Manager, Digital Producer and Graphic Designer, coordinating through the Marketing Coordinator, and managing timelines, budgets and approvals
  • Owning paid strategy and execution across LinkedIn, Meta, Google and display, maximising return on investment through audiences, targeting, budgets, bidding and pacing
  • Running structured A/B testing and maintaining conversion tracking (UTMs, pixels, events) with the digital systems team
  • Building and continuously improving the non-member lead journey (capture, scoring, routing and nurture), working with the D365 CRM Data Specialist and Digital Systems Manager
  • Managing the lead handover and service-level agreement with the Membership team, and developing automated nurture streams that move leads from interest to sales-readiness
  • Reporting on campaign and funnel performance with optimisation recommendations, and leading, supporting and developing the Marketing Coordinator
To best succeed in this role you will have:
  • 5–8 years' marketing experience, with significant hands-on paid media experience
  • Proven experience managing multi-channel campaigns for multiple stakeholders at once
  • Expertise with LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads
  • Experience building lead journeys, lead scoring and nurture programs in a CRM or marketing automation platform
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence using data to make decisions
  • Strong stakeholder management, including the ability to prioritise and push back
  • Experience leading or supervising team members
  • Capacity to understand member and prospect needs and deliver activity that is valued
We offer you:
  • A collaborative work environment with talented people who are committed to achieving the best outcomes for our members and clients.
  • Professional development opportunities, including access to Australian Industry Group’s short courses.
  • Flexible working arrangements to suit your circumstances, including purchase leave, an additional 5 days of annual leave if you use your yearly annual leave entitlements, and the ability to switch a public holiday to a day you prefer to take leave.
  • A wide range of employee benefits including free annual health initiatives, salary sacrificing options, including novated lease.
  • A genuine sense of belonging and individual achievement, where we will embrace your unique strengths and skills.
