The CAMHS Clinician – Occupational Therapy role at Health provides specialist child and adolescent mental health care. You will assess and treat families, coordinate care and supervise OT students within the regional team.

Applicants must be registered with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist, have experience with complex youth mental health needs, and work collaboratively with professionals to promote equitable access to services.

Qualifications

• Registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA is required.
• Experience treating complex child/adolescent mental health issues.
• Knowledge of assessment and intervention models for children and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment and therapeutic intervention for children and families.
• Identify mental health needs in the community and plan programs.
• Supervise OT students on placement.
