Muswellbrook Shire Council is seeking a Hospitality/Café assistant to support the Hospitality Manager at the Art Gallery Café. You will assist in drinks/food prep, catering, customer service and daily operations, including training Certificate I & II Hospitality students.

The role requires food safety awareness, barista experience, and a WHS-focused mindset. A flexible, team-based workplace with ongoing development opportunities is offered.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate of Food Safety Supervisor or willingness to obtain.
• At least 1 year of Barista experience.
• Working with Children Check or ability to obtain.
• Driver's Licence (Desirable).
• Demonstrated experience in working in a hospitality sector.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and cook a variety of short order cafe items, coffee, takeaway foods and beverages.
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service and welcome customers.
• Guide students in food prep, service techniques, hygiene practices and safety.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in kitchen areas.
• Apply WHS and public health practices and maintain them.
• Collaborate with team and across hospitality outlets to deliver services.
