Job summary

Albury Wodonga Health is seeking a Food Services Assistant to support our hospital cafe team. You will prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, light meals, and snacks, while ensuring a welcoming customer experience.

You will also be responsible for cleaning and servicing of areas, waste disposal, and adherence to safety procedures under the Food Safety Plan and OHS guidelines. Experience in hospitality is desirable and helpful in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a café or hospitality setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and prepare a variety of hot and cold beverages, light meals and snacks for customers.
• Clean and service assigned areas, dispose of waste, and follow the AWH Food Safety Plan and OHS principles.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors and staff.
• Deliver/restock pantry items to ward and department areas.
