Aromas Fine Foods in Launceston, Tasmania is seeking an experienced Cafe Manager or barista to lead our on-site cafe operations. This is a full-time position based on-site at our Launceston TAS 7250 location.

As Cafe Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety. The role requires flexibility with hours and a passion for hospitality.

Formación

• Proven experience as cafe manager in hospitality.
• Strong leadership and staff management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
• Experience with budgeting and cost control.
• Proficiency with POS systems and cafe software.
• Flexible hours including weekends/public holidays.
• RSA or food handling certifications desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily cafe operations, including opening/closing, stock management, and cash handling.
• Manage and supervise cafe staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the cafe.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and food costs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Monitor quality standards for food and beverage preparation.
• Contribute to menu planning and promotional activities.
• Prepare financial reports and manage budgets.
• Ensure cafe meets health and safety requirements at all times.
