Belgravia Leisure at VIC, Fawkner Leisure Centre is seeking Café/Kiosk Attendants to deliver first-class service to patrons and maintain a welcoming cafe environment. You will handle orders, cash, and promote healthy options, with shifts in mornings, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Positive, friendly, helpful and energetic work style.
• Coffee making/ barista skills.
• Food handling Certificate.
• Current First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2).
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Current Food Handlers Qualification.
• Police Check.
• Working with Children Check.
• Ability to be flexible during the centre's peak periods.
• Availability Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers
• Maintaining the appearance and presentation of the café
• Replenished condiments as needed
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Cashier experience, taking orders and handling cash
• Apply sound cash handling principals and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Promote the centre's services and programs to our patrons
• Develop and maintain good working relations with patrons
• Provide information on our product range, including promoting healthy food options
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends. Hours may increase during the centre's peak periods
