Job summary

The Jolly Miller Group operates 14 cafés and provides quality barista coffee, fresh food, pastries and homemade cakes. We seek a Cook to join our Melton South team, offering training, development and a supportive environment.

You will work with an experienced team and contribute to great customer experiences in a busy cafe setting. Ideal candidates will have 12+ months in a similar role, be pursuing or completed commercial cookery studies, and hold Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• 12+ months experience in a similar café or restaurant role.
• Completed or be undertaking studies in commercial cookery or similar.
• Must have valid visa and Australian working rights.
• Reliable roster readiness with flexible day/night trade.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Be reliable when rostered for shifts.
• Demonstrate strong work ethic and a positive personality.
• Maintain flexible availability for day and night trade.
• Communicate clearly with chefs and team.
• Take on tasks allocated by chefs with enthusiasm.
