Job summary

ISS Facility Services (Australia) is seeking a Café Assistant for an onsite café at a food manufacturing facility in Wahgunyah, VIC. This is a part-time role with a Wednesday shift 1:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., plus additional mornings or early-afternoon shifts as needed.

You will prepare and present canteen meals, maintain food safety, clean areas, and deliver friendly service to staff and visitors. A National Police Check within 12 months is required if successful.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Food and Beverage environment
• Able to demonstrate initiative and work in a team
• Clear National Police Check within 12 months of issue

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of food services in accordance with Food Safety Legislation and Food Services Procedures
• Preparation and presentation of canteen meals such as salads, sandwiches and drinks
• Cleaning and sanitizing of food service and prep areas; trays, cutlery, crockery and trolleys
• Preparation of work stations including assembly of items and stocking of consumables
• Delivering friendly and genuine excellent service to all customers
• The required shift time is Wednesdays: 1:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
• Additional days: 5:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m./1:00 p.m., or 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., as needed
• Experience in a Food and Beverage environment
• Able to demonstrate initiative and work in a team
