Job summary

Cater Care is hiring an Assistant Manager – Açaí, Smoothies & Coffee in Sydney. The role is hands-on, starting at 4:30 am and involves leading a small team, managing daily store operations, and delivering top-notch customer service.

You will prepare beverages and simples foods, uphold food safety and cleanliness, and support training and onboarding while coordinating with the Store Manager on priorities.

Qualifications

• Barista and customer service experience required.
• Essential: Food Safety Supervisor qualification and 4:30 am start availability.
• Desirable: supervisory/leadership experience in café/food retail or quick-service environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality coffee, smoothies, açaí bowls and simple food.
• Deliver friendly and efficient customer service.
• Support store opening and daily operations.
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Assist with team training, coaching and onboarding.
• Ensure procedures and service standards are followed.
• Support the Store Manager with team leadership and operational priorities.
