Job summary

WHSmith Australia invites applications for a Café All Rounder at Fresh+ Café, Logan Hospital in Brisbane. You will deliver exceptional customer service, work independently or with the team, and help maintain store standards in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include food/beverage service, POS operation, stock replenishment, cleanliness and hygiene, and handling cash/card payments. A customer-focused mindset and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a busy retail or hospitality environment.
• Willingness to work across various shifts, including weekends.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with food handling is desirable.

This position is based in our Fresh+ Café in Logan Hospital.

As a Café All Rounder, you’ll provide exceptional customer service and work independently or as part of a team to deliver our fantastic store standards. We want you, our customers, and our colleagues to be proud to share their journey with us.

What being a Café All Rounder is all about:

• Preparing and serving food and beverages to café standards and in line with food safety guidelines.
• Operating the POS system and handling transactions accurately.
• Restocking supplies and ensuring the front-of-house is always well presented.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the café.
• Handling both cash and card payments efficiently.

• A passion for customers having an exceptional experience in store.
• Experience in food handling would be ideal.
• Motivated to achieve fantastic results and standards.
• Adaptable to meet company requirements and goals.
