Job summary

WHSmith Australia, operating Fresh+ Cafe at Port Macquarie Hospital, is seeking a Café All Rounder to deliver exceptional customer service while preparing food and beverages to cafe standards. You will work independently or with a team, ensuring fast, accurate transactions and pristine front-of-house presentation.

We're hiring for a Café All Rounder at Fresh+ Cafe at Port Macquarie Hospital

As a Café All Rounder, you’ll provide exceptional customer service and work independently or as part of a team to deliver our fantastic store standards. We want you, our customers, and our colleagues to be proud to share their journey with us.

What being a Café All Rounder is all about:

• Preparing and serving food and beverages to café standards and in line with food safety guidelines
• Operating the POS system and handling transactions accurately
• Restocking supplies and ensuring the front-of-house is always well presented
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the café
• Handling both cash and card payments efficiently

What our Stores would love to see:

• Strong Barista skills
• A passion for customers having an exceptional experience in store
• Experience in food handling would be ideal
• Motivated to achieve fantastic results and standards
• Adaptable to meet company requirements and goals
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Having your own transportation would be advantageous

Shifts typically vary across the week, including early starts and weekend shifts.
