Job summary

BaptistCare is seeking a Café All Rounder at our Yarra Rosa café. You will be the face of the cafe, serving customers, preparing food and drinks, and keeping the space welcoming and tidy.

This 30‑hour week role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00am–2:00pm, on a maximum-term contract through March 2027, with salary of $29.98 per hour plus Super and access to salary packaging. Ideal candidates are friendly, reliable, and customer-focused, with comfort in a busy café setting.

Qualifications

• Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused.
• Comfortable working in a busy café environment.
• Barista experience is a plus but not essential.
• Willing to learn food safety knowledge and hygiene practices.
• Happy to work independently and as part of a team.

THE ROLE

This is a maximum-term position until the end of March 2027, working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 2:00pm. Your day might include:

• Making and serving coffee, food, and drinks
• Taking orders and handling POS/EFTPOS
• Keeping the café clean, organised, and welcoming
• Re-stocking fridges and displays
• Supporting the team during busy service periods

ABOUT YOU
