Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking reliable General Labourers/Trade Assistants for ongoing casual work across construction, landscaping, and warehousing.Work includes site prep, material handling, and assisting trades on diverse projects. Immediate start with weekly pay and pathways to permanent roles.

Must have 12 months' experience, Construction White Card, and a valid Driver Licence. PPE is required on site and workers compensation is provided.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, with opportunities to work across a variety of industries including:

• Commercial and residential landscaping
• Residential and commercial construction
• Warehouse fit-outs and pallet racking installations
• Shopfitting and carpentry projects
• Demolition and strip-out work
• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Container unloading
• Site clean-ups and final cleans
• General manual handling duties

Typical tasks include:

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assembling products
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We're Looking For

To join our team you must have:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
• Construction White Card

PPE Requirements

You must supply your own PPE, including:

• Steel-capped boots
• Hard hat
• Safety glasses
