Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking experienced General Labourers or Trade Assistants for ongoing casual assignments in the Caboolture region. Earn $35.11 per hour with 11.5% super and a $22 daily travel allowance, plus consistent weekly pay and pathways into permanent employment.

Responsibilities include site prep, material handling, dig tasks, and assisting trades on a variety of projects from landscaping to shopfitting. Must have White Card and reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card required.
• Current Driver Licence and reliable transport preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and punctuality.

What You'll Be Doing

• Residential and commercial construction
• Warehouse fit-outs and pallet racking installations
• Shopfitting and carpentry projects
• Demolition and strip-out work
• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Site clean-ups and final cleans

Typical tasks include:

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We're Looking For

To join our team you must have:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
• Construction White Card

PPE Requirements

You must supply your own PPE, including:
