Job summary

Lancomm Pty Ltd is recruiting for field roles across outdoor network construction. You will haul fibre cables, install subducts, dig trenches, and set up pits and pipes on both city streets and regional sites.

We value safety, teamwork and a positive attitude. Valid driver’s licence and OH&S White Card are required; MR/HR/HC licences and excavator experience are a plus. Flexible hours and outdoor work are common in this role.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s licence and OH&S White Card.
• Experience in cable hauling or pit & pipe installation (preferred).
• Flexibility with hours—sometimes the job requires all hands-on deck.
• Physical fitness, reliability and a positive attitude.
• MR/HR/HC licence.
• Experience/ticketed operating small excavators (1.5–3 tonne).

Responsibilities

• Haul fibre cables and install subducts in the field.
• Clear blockages, dig trenches, and set up new pits and pipes.
• Read and interpret plans (DBYD plans and TMH sheets), solve problems on the fly, and keep safety front of mind.
• Rod & Roping: Navigating existing ducts and conduits
• Pit & Pipe Work
• Service Location: Identifying third-party services

What you’ll do:

Haul fibre cables and install subducts in the field.

What we’re looking for:

A valid driver’s licence and OH&S White Card.
