Job summary
Project 717 is seeking a motivated Cabinet Making Apprentice to join our growing team in Queensland. This full-time apprenticeship offers hands-on training across cabinet and joinery manufacturing, reading plans, cutting and finishing cabinetry, and on-site installation.
No prior experience required—school leavers are encouraged to apply. You will learn from experienced tradespeople in a busy, modern environment and have opportunities to develop into a skilled cabinet maker with a nationally
Qualifications
- Interest in becoming a qualified Cabinet Maker.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
- Willingness to learn factory and on-site installation.
- School leavers encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Assist cabinet and joinery manufacturing.
- Read plans, drawings and specifications.
- Cut, assemble and finish cabinetry.
- Operate modern machinery and CNC equipment.
- Install hardware and components.
- Install kitchens and joinery on site.
- Handle various board products and materials.
- Quality control and safe work practices.
- Factory and on-site work.
