Job summary

Lead Group is seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker / Joinery Installer to work across our factory workshop and on-site installations in Sydney. You’ll read drawings, fabricate quality cabinetry, install hardware, and ensure finish and fit meet high standards.

This hands-on role rewards craftsmanship and reliability. We welcome 2nd and 3rd year apprentices who want to learn, grow with the team, and develop long-term careers in cabinet making.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified with Certificate III in Cabinet Making.
• Minimum 3 years of cabinet making experience.
• Able to read drawings/plans and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in fit and finish.

Responsibilities

• Work from drawings and design plans to produce quality cabinetry.
• Workshop fabrication and assembly work.
• On-site installation when required.
• Install hardware and finishing components with accuracy.
• Sand, finish and ensure high-standard craftsmanship.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workspace.

Job description

We’re looking for a skilled Cabinet Maker / Joinery Installer to join our team, working across both factory and on-site installation work.

This is a hands‑on role where quality matters, the days are busy, and your skills will actually be used—not wasted.

What you’ll be doing

• Working from drawings and design plans to produce quality cabinetry
• Workshop fabrication and assembly work
• On-site installation when required
• Installing hardware and finishing components with accuracy
• Sanding, finishing, and ensuring high-standard craftsmanship
• Working safely and keeping a clean, organised workspace

What we’re looking for

• Trade qualified Certificate III in Cabinet Making
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the trade
• Confident using a range of workshop machinery
• Able to read plans and work independently
• Strong attention to detail—fit and finish matters
• Reliable, steady worker who takes pride in their output

Nice to have (not essential)

• Site installation experience
• Exposure to custom joinery or architectural work
