Job summary

Capital Veneering is seeking an experienced Installer to join our team, covering commercial and residential joinery installations. The role focuses on accurate assembly, on-site fit-outs and safe, high-quality installations across diverse projects.

With a background in cabinet making or joinery installation, you will work closely with installation, production and project teams, ensuring workmanship meets our high standards and project specifications on site.

Qualifications

• Cabinet making or joinery experience required.
• Experience reading and interpreting shop drawings.
• Experience on active construction sites.
• Trade qualification in Cabinet Making, Joinery or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Install custom cabinetry, joinery, wall panelling and associated products.

Job description

Capital Veneering is seeking an experienced and motivated Installer to join our growing team.

This role is suited to a qualified Cabinet Maker or experienced Joinery Installer with a strong background in commercial joinery, fit-outs and construction site installations. You will be responsible for the installation of high-quality custom joinery across a range of commercial and residential projects.

Working closely with our installation, production and project teams, you'll ensure joinery is installed safely, accurately and efficiently, while maintaining the high standards expected by Capital Veneering and our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Install custom cabinetry, joinery, wall panelling and associated products.
• Read and interpret plans, shop drawings and specifications.
• Complete accurate site measurements, set outs and installation checks.
• Carry out on-site adjustments and modifications where required.
• Safely operate hand and power tools.
• Handle high-value cabinetry and finished joinery with care.
• Identify and resolve installation issues in consultation with supervisors and project teams.
• Liaise professionally with builders, site supervisors, other trades and team members.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Follow all site requirements and WHS policies and procedures.

Experience

• Commercial construction and fit-out experience.
• Installation of custom joinery.
• Experience reading and interpreting detailed shop drawings.
• Experience working on active construction sites.
• Experience installing cabinetry, wall panelling and other detailed joinery.
