Job summary

Coast Modular Pty Ltd, a family-run modular home builder based in Tweed Heads South, NSW, is hiring a skilled Cabinet Maker. You will measure and read plans, order materials, build and assemble cabinetry, and install kitchens, robes, and vanities.

You’ll collaborate with the Construction Manager to keep projects moving and ensure high-quality finishes. We offer a stable, full-time role in a growing company with a factory-based environment.

Qualifications

• Confident reading plans and working from drawings.
• Experience measuring and ordering cabinetry.
• Experience installing cabinetry in homes or offices.
• Able to work independently and stay organised.
• Quality-focused and reliable in a factory/construction setting.

Responsibilities

• Measuring cabinetry requirements and reading plans.
• Reading plans and confirming dimensions on site.
• Ordering cabinetry through preferred suppliers.
• Coordinating cabinetry orders and deliveries.
• Building and assembling cabinetry from cut-to-size components.
• Installing kitchens, vanities, robes and other cabinetry.
• Coordinating with the team to book stone templating and installation.
• Working with the Construction Manager to keep projects moving.
• Ensuring cabinetry is completed to a high standard.

About you

• A qualified and experienced Cabinet Maker
• Confident reading plans and working from drawings
• Experienced in measuring, ordering and installing cabinetry
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your work
• Practical and switched-on
• Quality focused
• Reliable and organised
• Happy to get involved outside of your main trade
• Experienced in carpentry or general construction, or keen to develop these skills
