Job summary

Morrison's Cabinets in Queensland is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker/CNC Operator to join our family-run team. The role covers manufacturing, assembling and installing joinery, plus CNC Router and Edge Banding operation, pre-programmed jobs, and quality control to meet production schedules.

The successful candidate will read detailed plans and cutting lists, have CNC Router and Edge Banding experience, be reliable, motivated and able to work unsupervised with good time management and

Qualifications

• Experience in cabinet making and joinery manufacturing.
• Able to read and interpret detailed plans and cutting lists.
• WH&S white card and valid open driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, assemble and install joinery products.
• Operate CNC Router and Edge Banding equipment.
• Maintain safe work environment and adhere to schedules.
• Quality control and teamwork with production staff.

Established in 2007, Morrison's Cabinets is a family run cabinet making business with an extensive history of delivering exceptional custom-made cabinetry. Our focus is the design, manufacture, and installation of designer cabinets including kitchens, vanities, wardrobes,outdoor kitchens and bars.

As a result of the continual growth of Morrison’s Cabinets, along with the strong projected future forecast, we currently have a vacancy for an experienced Cabinet Maker/CNC Operator. The position will include the below job responsibilities:

Maintain safe work environment

Manufacturing, assembling and installation of all types of joinery

Operation of CNC Router and Edge Bander including running pre-programmed jobs

Quality control

Adhering to schedules and deadlines

Working closely with the production team to maintain an efficient workflow and meet production schedules

The ideal (qualified) candidate will display the following skills:

CNC Router and Edge Banding Machinery experience highly desirable

Motivated, reliable, punctual and ambitious

Willing to use their own initiative, work unsupervised and problem solve

Team player

Good time management

Excellent attention to detail and quality

Ability to read detailed plans and cutting lists

Current Open drivers license and WHS&E white card
