Job summary

Marsh Australia is seeking a Buying Groups Insurance Broker to join the Buying Groups team. The role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane with a hybrid arrangement requiring at least three days in the office each week.

You will manage industry insurance schemes, deliver excellent client service, and drive renewal processes while leveraging your SME or scheme experience and strong MS Office & broker IT skills.

Qualifications

• Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance qualification is required.
• Experience in an SME or Scheme environment is well regarded.
• Client service, underwriting, claims or insurance broking experience is well regarded.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to learn new skills and concepts is important.
• Strong Microsoft Office and Broker IT platform skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of various industry insurance schemes, providing day-to-day strategic and operational management.
• Provide excellent service to scheme members and corporate sponsors.
• Initiate and progress new and renewal policy binding, invoicing and distribution of related policy documentation.
• Process quotation and placing slips.
• Prepare information and documentation for Pre-Renewal and Broking meetings.
• Produce renewal reports and insurance manuals as required.

We are seeking a Buying Groups Insurance Broker to join our Buying Groups team at Marsh Australia. This role will be either based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We are looking for candidates who are keen to progress their career within our Buying Groups team. If you have a passion for client service, general insurance experience and an interest in developing your finance professional services career through ongoing learning and progression opportunities, we would love to hear from you. We have multiple roles from junior to senior level in our team.

We will count on you to:

• Take ownership of various industry insurance schemes, providing day-to-day strategic and operational management
• Provide excellent service to scheme members and corporate sponsors
• Initiate and progress new and renewal policy binding, invoicing and distribution of related policy documentation.
• Process quotation and placing slips.
