Who in the Zoo Recruitment partners with a leading Australian fashion retailer to recruit a commercially minded Buyer. You will own your category, shaping ranges that connect with customers and drive commercial success.

Reporting into the Senior Buying team, you’ll identify trends, build assortments and influence brand direction. Hybrid working is available, with salary packaging of $100k–$110k plus super and a bonus structure.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the Senior Buying team, you’ll take ownership of your category and play a key role in creating ranges that connect with customers and deliver commercial success. You’ll combine your trend knowledge, product eye and commercial mindset to identify opportunities, build assortments and influence the direction of the brand.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong trend analysis capability and the ability to identify and interpret emerging trends.
• A strong understanding of the customer and fashion market.
• A great product eye with the ability to identify commercial opportunities.
• Commercial buying skills, including an understanding of planning and trading principles.
• A strong achievement mindset, curiosity and desire to learn and grow.
• Experience within fashion, accessories, apparel or a fast-paced retail environment.
