Job summary

SkillCentred Queensland is offering full-time traineeships in Kingaroy and surrounding areas to gain experience in a business environment. Trainees will work on local community projects, assist with administrative functions, support program activities and participate in local events and festivals.

Participants may gain an entry level Certificate I in Workplace Skills, with wages in line with the National Training Wage Award (AUD 11.38–23.10 per hour).

Qualifications

• Trainees must meet age and school status requirements.
• Provide date of birth and address.
• Must be 15 years of age or older.
• Not currently enrolled in school.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administrative functions on local community projects.
• Support program activities and organize materials for events.
• Work at local events and festivals as needed.

About the position:

SkillCentred has multiple traineeship positions available forindividuals wanting to gain experience in the business environment. Trainees will work on a range of local community projects assisting withadministrative functions as well as supporting program activities and working at local events and festivals. Trainees will have the opportunity to gainan entry level Business qualification (Certificate I in Workplace Skills).

Full-time traineeship

38 hours per week (Monday-Friday)

19weeks

Pay rates arein accordance with the National Training Wage Award and is calculated on your highest school level completed and the number of years you've been out of school.
