Job summary

Decision Inc. is a global technology consulting organisation seeking a Business Systems Analyst with Power Platform focus. You’ll map and redesign processes, then build fixes in Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse, working closely with clients’ operations teams.

You’ll progress from analyst to senior consultant, gaining exposure to leadership and solution design while delivering end-to-end engagements and collaborating with the Practice Lead.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years as a business or systems analyst, process analyst, Power Platform developer or similar
• Hands-on Power Platform build experience (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
• Process mapping experience and interest in better ways of working
• Comfort with data: relational structures, SQL, how systems talk to each other
• Some client-facing or stakeholder-facing experience and appetite for growth

Responsibilities

• Run discovery with clients: facilitate workshops, map current-state processes, identify real problems behind the stated ones
• Redesign processes before automating them to improve how work gets done
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories and solution designs
• Build and maintain solutions in Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse
• Work through integrations with APIs, REST services and client systems
• Support delivery from discovery through testing, go-live and support, owning workstreams as you grow
• Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders
• Contribute to methods, templates and reusable assets to improve the practice

Who We Need
Business Systems Analyst (Power Platform focus)

About the Role

You’re the person who can’t watch a broken process without mapping it, questioning it and redesigning it. Then you build the fix yourself in Power Platform. You’d rather spend a day with a client’s operations team than a week guessing at requirements, and you explain things clearly enough that people trust you.

You’ve got a few years of solid experience and you’re ready for more. This role is built to grow you into a senior consultant: you’ll work closely with our Practice Lead, take on more ownership as you’re ready, and get real exposure to client leadership and solution design.

What you’ll do

• Run discovery with clients: facilitate workshops, map current-state processes, find the real problem behind the stated one
• Redesign processes before automating them, so we improve how work gets done instead of digitising inefficiency
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories and solution designs
• Build and maintain solutions in Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse
• Work through integrations with APIs, REST services and client systems
• Support delivery from discovery through testing, go-live and support, taking ownership of workstreams and then whole engagements as you grow
• Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders
• Contribute to our methods, templates and reusable assets so the practice gets better with every project

What you bring

• Around 3 to 5 years as a business or systems analyst, process analyst, Power Platform developer or similar
• Hands-on Power Platform build experience (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
• Process mapping experience and a genuine interest in how work could be done better (BPMN or Lean-style thinking a plus)
• Comfort with data: relational structures, SQL, how systems talk to each other
• Some client-facing or stakeholder-facing experience, and the appetite for more

• You ask the questions others skip, and you’re comfortable saying “I don’t think that’s the real problem”
• You can explain a technical idea to a non-technical person without losing them
• You stay organised across multiple pieces of work with shifting priorities
• You make sensible calls when direction is unclear, and you know when to ask
• You take ownership. If something you built isn’t working for the client, it bothers you
• You want feedback and act on it, and you share what you learn with others
• Python, .NET, Azure services or integration platforms such as Logic Apps
• Exposure to RPA or agentic AI tools
