Job description

The Infrastructure Group is responsible for the planning, delivery, and management and maintenance of the Department of Health’s existing health assets, a significant capital works program, and the management of commercial arrangements.

The Business Support Officer provides efficient and effective administrative and clerical support to the broader Infrastructure Group, enhancing service delivery and contributing to the successful delivery of infrastructure projects and programs.

The Role:
  • Proven experience in administrative and clerical support in a demanding senior management environment.
  • Well-developed information technology skills, including knowledge of Agency software applications and the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
  • Sound knowledge of basic accounting and financial procedures and experience using financial information systems.

Details of Appointment:

Permanent full-time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.

Salary:

$73,811 to $79,779 per annum, plus 12% superannuation contribution.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
