Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in business services or public practice accounting.
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong client relationships.
• Proficiency with accounting software (Xero, MYOB, or similar).
• Self-motivated, organised, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, and BAS/IAS for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSF.
• Provide tax and business advisory services to a diverse client base.
• Assist in managing client relationships and providing practical solutions to complex business issues.
• Collaborate with senior accountants and partners on project work and advisory engagements and onboarding of new clients
• Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards and taxation legislation.
