Job summary

Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited (MMAL) is seeking an experienced finance professional to join our Financial Control team as a Business Partner - Financial Control. This role is Adelaide-based, reporting to the Senior Manager - Financial Control.

You will deliver accurate financial reporting, maintain key controls and support business decisions. Responsibilities include month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, vendor governance and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• CPA or CA qualification required; studying towards CPA/CA desirable.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in financial accounting, management accounting or financial control.
• Strong month-end close, reporting and reconciliation experience.
• Proven SAP experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail.

About the role:

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Financial Control, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining key financial controls and supporting effective business decision-making.

What you'll bring:

We are looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting capability with excellent stakeholder management skills. You will ideally have:

• CPA or CA qualification, or currently studying towards completion
• Minimum 3 years' experience in financial accounting, management accounting or financial control
• Strong month-end close, reporting and reconciliation experience
• Proven SAP experience
• Advanced Excel skills and strong Microsoft Office proficiency
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
• Experience within a large corporate or multinational environment will be highly regarded
