Job summary

Mitsubishi Motors Australia is seeking an experienced finance professional to join the Financial Control team as a Business Partner - Financial Control. You will deliver accurate financial reporting, maintain controls and support decision-making across the business.

You will work on month-end/quarter-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow forecasting and vendor governance, with opportunities for process improvement and professional growth in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• CPA or CA qualification, or currently studying toward completion.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in financial accounting, management accounting, or financial control.
• Strong month-end close, reporting and reconciliation experience.
• Proven SAP experience and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
• Provide cash flow reporting and forecasting support.
• Handle company fleet accounting and reporting.
• Oversee vendor onboarding and invoice processing governance.
• Support audit activities and compliance.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated finance professional to join our Financial Control team as a Business Partner - Financial Control. About The Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Financial Control, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining key financial controls and supporting effective business decision-making.

You will work across a broad range of activities, including:

• Month-end and quarter-end reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
• Cash flow reporting and forecasting
• Company fleet accounting and reporting
• Vendor onboarding and invoice processing governance
• Audit support and compliance activities
• Continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes

What you'll bring

We are looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting capability with excellent stakeholder management skills. You will ideally have:

• CPA or CA qualification, or currently studying towards completion
• Minimum 3 years' experience in financial accounting, management accounting or financial control
• Strong month-end close, reporting and reconciliation experience
• Proven SAP experience
• Advanced Excel skills and strong Microsoft Office proficiency
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
• Experience within a large corporate or multinational environment will be highly regarded
