After successfully tendering to provide Aged Care Assessment Services (ACAS) under the new Single Assessment Service (SAS) in late 2024, Catholic Healthcare have established a large team of Leaders and Assessors to provide Aged Care Assessment Services across NSW and the ACT.

This is a dynamic and fast moving space, and we are looking for an experienced Business/Operations Manager to lead our ACAS team and drive an effective, efficient and scalable business operation focused on delivering high quality services and achieving holistic client outcomes.

Aged Care Assessment Services (ACAS) operates independently of Catholic Healthcare and plays a pivotal role in ensuring that Older Australians are assessed for the care and services they truly need.

Day to day this role looks like:

  • Delivery of the Aged Care Assessment Service program, to agreed scope, objectives and associated KPIs (time cost, quality, satisfaction, and compliance) to maximise the performance and deliverables.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective and sustainable relationships with all key stakeholder's to optimise delivery.
  • Providing effective team leadership to inspire, motivate and optimise the potential of the team
  • Actively managing contracts / agreements in conjunction with procurement guidelines and policies.
  • Analysing and determining program processes and workflows to provide optimum service to clients and residents as well as enhance employee experience.
  • Monitoring and reporting on performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensuring that the ACAS services comply with CHL’s obligations under the relevant ACAS contract, including management of conflicts of interest.
  • Seeking opportunities for operational and cost efficiencies.
  • Providing recommendation, solutions and/or continuous improvement plans to address identified gaps.

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in clinical &/or health related specialist area (RN, OT, PT, Social Work)
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of large-scale business project
  • Strong project and change management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross functional teams and deliver results.
  • Experience with the My Aged Care Portal and RAS or ANACC experience (highly regarded)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive and pragmatic approach with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
