Mitchell Shire Council is seeking a Business Development and Engagement Officer to drive practical support for local businesses, deliver events and initiate initiatives that boost the local economy. You will engage with businesses, coordinate communications and lead engaging programs across the municipality.

The permanent full-time role includes a Monthly ADO, with remuneration starting at $94.1K to $102.3K (Band 6) plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to engage with local businesses and stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating events, programs, or business initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in economic development or business support is preferred.
• Relevant tertiary qualification as stated.
