Minor Hotels ANZ is seeking a Business Development Manager – Weddings & Social Events for Avani Cypress Lakes Resort in the Hunter Valley. Lead the growth of weddings and social events with hands-on event delivery, converting relationships into premium on-site experiences.

You’ll own sales strategy from pursuit to execution, building client relationships and representing the resort at industry events to position it as the Hunter Valley’s premier destination for celebrations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in wedding or event sales and management.
• Proven success in achieving sales targets.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings for events.

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and strategic Business Development Manager – Weddings & Social Events to lead the growth of our event business at Avani Cypress Lakes Resort. This is your chance to combine sales leadership with hands-on event delivery in one of Australia’s most picturesque destinations.

About the Role:

As the BDM, you’ll take ownership of our weddings and social events portfolio from sales strategy through to event execution. You’ll build strong client relationships, lead premium events on-site, and position our resort as the Hunter Valley’s premier destination for celebrations.
