Total Tools Elizabeth is looking for a Full-Time Business Development Manager, who has a real passion for tools & trades. This is an exciting and rare opportunity for you to utilise your current sales skills and experience within a growing and diverse business.

This position will suit an experienced sales professional; you will have previous experience as a sales representative, account manager or similar, with an ability to build strong, loyal relationships in the trade and industrial sectors. Having a passion for outstanding customer service will result in delivering the required KPIs, whilst adding real value to our trade customers. You will be an enthusiastic, self-starter, with proven results in driving sales growth in a target driven environment.

Responsibilities
  • Building solid working relationships and developing rapport with key stakeholders/accounts
  • Liaising with, and finding solutions for current and potential clients
  • Developing and implementing sales plans and initiatives
  • Effectively managing your diverse customer base
  • Analysing sales and customer data to identify new opportunities
  • Attracting new customers in addition to growing existing business- you will be comfortable cold calling as required
  • Achieving sales, margin, and product mix targets
Qualifications
  • A sound business acumen with the ability to understand relevant financials
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with sound experience in a similar sales role
  • A strong ability to develop and maintain B2B relationships and influence decision-making
  • Strong work ethic and 'can do' attitude
  • Organised with excellent time management skills
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an eye for detail
  • Comfortable with technology – computer literacy is a must, with a professional phone manner
  • A comprehensive understanding and previous experience in the trade and industrial sector an advantage
