This is a hybrid role. The Business Development Team works from our Brighton office 4-5 days per week for the first 3 months, with the opportunity to work in the office 3 days per week after that.

What You’ll Be Doing

This Business Development Manager opportunity offers a high degree of autonomy. You will be responsible for your own portfolio of customer accounts, taking full ownership of the entire sales cycle for an award-winning business credit card.

In this telephone-based role, you will be selling directly to the owner-directors of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). Your responsibilities will span the full scope of the sales process, from self-generating leads and initial prospecting through to closing the sale and providing ongoing account management.

Responsibilities:

  • Self-generating leads
  • Building and managing a customer pipeline
  • Making 30-50 outbound cold calls per day
  • Working towards and hitting targets of card spend
  • Managing customer accounts and spend
  • Working to high standards of FCA regulations
  • Proven experience in cold calling
  • Experience managing a 360 sales cycle - prospecting, outreach and account management
  • A proven track record of working to KPIs and Targets
  • An understanding of SMEs and their financial workings
