Job description

Talent International is searching for an experienced Business Data Analyst to join our Queensland Government client based in Brisbane CBD on a 12 Month Initial Contract with strong extension potential.

Initial 12 Month Contract + Likely Extensions • 1 day WFH per week • Brisbane CBD location

The role

This role will support the successful replacement of a legacy system with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). It's a hands-on opportunity for an experienced Business/Data Analyst with strong skills in system migration, data mapping, and business requirement validation. You'll play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, alignment with business needs, and readiness for go-live through effective UAT coordination and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to data mapping and migration between legacy systems and Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Gather, validate, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
• Develop and manage UAT plans, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with vendors, data analysts, and SMEs to validate mapping logic and data integrity
• Support data quality, governance, and validation throughout the migration lifecycle

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business or Data Analyst on system migration or implementation projects
• Direct experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or similar CRM/CMS platforms)
• Strong skills in data mapping, modelling, and transformation
• Demonstrated experience coordinating and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, and SQL
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills
