Oporto is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to partner with franchisees, manage a portfolio of restaurants, and drive profitability across the network. You will coach franchisees on operations, customer experience, people management, and business planning while leading strategic initiatives and new store openings.

This role requires frequent travel across the restaurant network and a strong track record in multi-site management within casual dining or QSR environments.

About the role

Working within our operations team, partner with our restaurant franchisees to improve and grow their businesses and ultimately drive profit. You'll manage a portfolio of restaurants and support a variety of franchisees, from those just starting to large-scale multi-site owners.

You will coach our franchisees on all aspects of their restaurant, including operational standards, customer experience, people management and leadership, sales and profitability, workplace health and safety, and business planning.

You'll also lead a range of operational activities across the network, including new store openings, and you will be a key driver towards brand success.

NB: This role requires frequent travel across the restaurant network.

Key Activities Include:

Commercial and Operational Support:

• Reviewing financial and operational reporting of restaurants to identify trends and opportunities to drive sales.
• Leveraging commercial and operational knowledge to drive restaurant profitability.
• Identifying risks and ensuring restaurants are safe and compliant with brand standards and regulatory requirements.

Coaching and Leadership:

• Driving business growth, operational excellence and profitability through franchisee development.
• Coaching and leadership support for restaurant teams and franchisees.

Brand and Customer Champion:

• Role modelling and advocating brand values, behaviours and standards.
• Championing a customer-centric approach across the business.
• Supporting communications and activities across the restaurant network, including new store openings.

About You

Essential

• Demonstrated experience owning a small business or working within a casual dining or quick service restaurant (QSR) environment.
• Proven retail operations knowledge and commercial acumen in identifying trends, opportunities and challenges to drive profitability and operational excellence.
• Previous experience in business partnering, coaching and supporting others in a business setting.
• Supportive and transformational leadership and coaching style.
• Previous experience in multi-site management.
